Order Processing
Orders are processed within 2–5 business days (India Standard Time) after payment confirmation.
Many of our products are handcrafted and handloom, so some items may be made to order and can take 7–21 business days to dispatch. Any longer lead times will be mentioned on the product page.
Once your order is shipped, we will send you an email/SMS with tracking details (where available).
Shipping Destinations & Methods
We ship worldwide from India.
Available shipping options and delivery estimates for your country are shown at checkout. These estimates are provided by our logistics partners and depend on destination, customs processing, and local courier performance.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, size of the parcel, and service level.
Shipping cost is not included in the product price and will vary by country and chosen shipping method.
Customs, Duties & Taxes (Import Fees)
We know surprise charges at delivery are frustrating, so we work with our logistics partners to make your total cost clear upfront.
Shipping & Import Fees included at checkout (where available)
For many countries, we use Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) services. This means:
Any applicable import duties, customs charges, and local taxes (VAT/GST) for your country are calculated in real time and added to your shipping cost at checkout.
You will see a single combined line such as “Shipping & Import Fees”, and once you pay this, you should not be charged anything additional at delivery.
Our logistics partner then handles all customs paperwork and payments on your behalf, so there is no extra work for you.
For these DDP shipments:
You pay everything upfront. No cash on delivery for duties or taxes. No surprise bills from customs.
Countries where DDP is not yet available
If our DDP service is not available for your country:
Local customs may still charge import duties or taxes when the parcel arrives.
These charges are set by your local authorities and are not included in the product price.
In such cases, the courier may contact you to pay these charges before delivery.
To minimize surprises in such locations, we:
Clearly label at checkout when import fees are included and when they may be charged separately.
Can provide HS codes and country-of-origin information if you wish to check expected fees with your local customs office before ordering.
If a parcel is refused due to unpaid import fees and returns to us, we will refund the item price after deducting outbound shipping, return shipping, and any customs costs charged back to us.
Customs Documentation
All shipments are sent with accurate customs declarations and invoices, usually describing goods as handcrafted / handloom textiles or accessories.
If you require specific documentation or wording for business imports, please contact us before placing your order.
Delays Beyond Our Control
Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates and not guarantees.
Delays can occur due to customs checks, local courier issues, public holidays, strikes, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
We will assist you with tracking and updates, but we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
Lost, Damaged, or Incorrect Parcels
We pack each handcrafted item with care. If your order arrives damaged, please:
Take clear photos of the outer packaging and the item(s).
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos.
If your order is lost in transit:
Inform us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date.
We will open an investigation with the carrier and, once confirmed lost, arrange a replacement or refund, depending on product availability and the shipping service used.
If the shipping address provided by you is incorrect or incomplete:
We are not responsible for non‑delivery or additional costs.
If the parcel returns to us, we can reship it after payment of new shipping charges.
Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Because our products are handcrafted and often made to order, we generally accept returns only in cases of:
Manufacturing defects
Damage in transit
Receipt of incorrect products
To request a return or exchange:
Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos and a description of the issue.
Once approved, we will share the return address and instructions.
Return shipping costs:
For errors on our side (wrong/defective/damaged items), return shipping is covered by us or reimbursed.
For change‑of‑mind or non‑defect reasons (where allowed), return shipping is paid by the customer.
Custom or personalized items may not be returnable unless they are defective or damaged.
Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned item, typically within 7–14 business days, to the original payment method.
Shipping Insurance
For high‑value orders, we recommend choosing a tracked and insured shipping option at checkout (where available).
If you decline insurance, our ability to compensate for lost or heavily damaged parcels may be limited to what the carrier reimburses.
Refused or Unclaimed Parcels
If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to:
Non‑payment of customs fees (in countries where DDP is not supported),
Incorrect address, or
Repeated failed delivery attempts,
we will refund the product value after deducting all shipping and customs costs charged to us.
